O amică de pe Facebook, stabilită de mai multă vreme în Grecia, a postat un fel de manifest care îndeamnă turiştii să nu viziteze ţara respectivă, pentru că în turismul elen domneşte o situaţie de haos, creată de recentele tulburări sociale: absenţa mijloacelor de transport, taxiuri la preţuri exorbitante, hoteluri aproape goale, servicii proaste, hrană proastă, personal nepăsător la nevoile clienţilor, lipsa aerului condiţionat etc.
Eu chiar cunosc câteva persoane, care recent au petrecut concediul în Grecia, dar nu s-au plâns de toate acestea, ba chiar au fost foarte mulţumite de timpul petrecut acolo. Oare ce să însemne acest protest?

2011 Greek Summer: The country and the land that i adore, it’s give shit to ALL THE TOURIST AND MORE, TO ALL IT’S CITIZENS.
In the summer of 2011 the only advice for all my friends it’s very simple:
AVOID GREECE!
In the place where democracy began, if you’ll come this summer, you’ll find at least anarchy: NO TAXI!!!! and for the bus…… have a guess: HAVE TO WAIT 1 HOUR and 30 MINUTES! Besides this the only explanations that you can get: „we are in the high season and you have to wait!”
I suppose that hell looks like this: lots of tourists walking at a temperature of 36 degrees, carrying luggage, with children in arms and crying …….
And THE BEST GREECE: a woman’s tears, in front of the police car, begging them for mercy to take them at the airport, to catch the plane, to get to see her dying sister and answer the policeman: „madame go and walk, stop crying! I cannot change the situation!! We are in strike here!”
„Enjoy Greece!!!!!”: – Most of the biggest hotel are empty (or dropping down dramatically) in the high season or if they are not, the quality it’s like: ” the management and the staff are rude, unprofessional and don’t care about the guests. the food was the same during our 7 day stay with efforts to discise it by changing location or the way it looks – on one of the days, they run out of milk and bread so they offered a defrosted bread!!!
no maintenance, no air condition, no lights, no normal food
at the bottom line- the hotel doesn’t worth the money it charges and you better put your money on a better place with much better service”
I am right to say: „The worst value for money. Don’t go if you don’t want to spoil your holiday!”
I personally LOVE GREECE, but the advice is: AVOID IT THIS SUMMER! The beauty of Greece IS NOT BELONG TO GREEK CITIZENS. „Siga siga” they destroy it!
Nu stiu cum e cu turistii in Grecia, in schimb un prieten apropiat a venit in vacanta acasa, iar ceea ce mi-a spus s-ar rezuma la urmatoarele: ca si turist, cu grupul, este bine sa urmezi grupul, sa nu te rupi de el.
Un caz socant, un ins a vrut sa filmeze nasterea copilului sau, dar a ajuns pe unde nu trebuie, si l-au lasat fara suflare pentru camera aceea de 120 de euro.
In linii mari, domneste intr-adevar haosul, iar daca ai ghinionul sa fi in locul nepotrivit, nu prea scapi. Este oarecum logic, agresivitatea omului pentru supravietuire intrece limitele cunoscute drept „normale”. Iar xenofobia este in crestere alarmanta, desi un grec nu ar lucra pe postul acela pentru banii acestia.
Asa ca, poate ar fi bine de evitat, pentru a nu crea neplaceri.
Cea mai bună prietenă a mea locuiește în Grecia … nu am mai vorbit cu ea de câteva zile, însă m-ai făcut curioasă, o voi întreba cu proxima ocazie, poate îmi scrie și un guest-post lămuritor.
